Sometimes people are put into
My life because I need them,
But often it gets turned around,
And it\'s them who need me.
That\'s when I start to become drained,
Giving all my energy,
With nothing left for me.
Don\'t get me wrong.
I love people;
I NEED people,
But many times I\'m better off alone,
Left to my own thoughts and dreams.
There are those rare few,
Who, rather than absorb all of my energy,
Reciprocate completely, maintaining balance.
Those are my very best friends
With whom I could spend a lifetime..
