You want your ears to be cut

As not to hear the screams around

You want your eyes to be glued shut

Don’t want to live in this ghost town

You’ll take the step into the blue

Nothing to lose, nothing to miss

I wish this wasn’t true

So let me give you one last kiss

Reason tells you to go through with it

I can’t make you change your mind

But I love you and must admit

I’d love you were you to be deaf and blind

The soul has its own pair of eyes

And if it doesn’t I’ll give you mine

You’re the one with whom I wear no disguise

So take my hand and we will be fine

Walking straight into the horizon line
