Thanking God !

Good or bad,whatever,
you are obliged to thank God;
you have to thank him
for all the good that may come to you;
even for all the bad that He may rid you off;
wily nilly you have to thank God
as if doing without may be the end of the world;
As if God depends on your lip service,
good comes with bad and bad with good
as if they were inter-married;
thanking the Almighty for his blessings only
is nothing but a tool to cover up
the ugliness of unending human desires;
the have-all have to be grateful,
but at the cost of deprived have-nots,
as if they were denied heavenly blessings
for their lack of thanksgiving.
What a pity !
