Insomnia
The joy of Insomnia
takes its toll on my life;
my eyes have frozen down
summoning sleep a heavy strife;
during the day I stay awake
because you are nigh;
as soon as I shut my eyes
your love begins to ply;
as darkness begins to fall
you depart leaving me alone;
my heart crazily beats for you
awake I lie awaiting dawn anon;
Insomnia isn\'t a bad thing provided
it doesn\'t take away your dreams;
day with you and night in your thoughts
are less of a joy than agony teems.
