einstein\'s laughter

that’s it
i’m stuffed
no more todays
for me please
i just want to rest for a while
on my mountain of yesterdays
my feet are killing me
and the sun is still so far
and so is tomorrow
i wish i could
figure out something
to skip the neverending today
almost impossible
with all that einstein’s laughter
interfering with my thoughts
maybe a pair of wings will do
or maybe not
anyway
i’ve always pictured
icarus smiling
as he was falling down
