The Nutters made my day...
...On the First of May

Eight thousand five hundred strong
carrying signs
in the breeze
on a sunny First of May
- demanding better pay,
conditions
and a decrease
in the number
of rainy days.
Me, I was looking
for my union
with the same
demands exactly.
The union would not materialize,
but the nutters did.
They made my day for sure,
advocating the legality
of a daydream
and a deviant reality
-marching on cobble stones
madness held high
witnessed by the city\'s
fading façades.
Proudly the Movement of The Mad
marched along
with me neatly clad
and my heart in their pockets.
