Talkative Bird addressing one Scholar
Lost in The Woods

In the dense forest
totally absorbed
in matters of thought
he abruptly found
that he was lost
in the midst
of a glen
where the
blindingly bright
rays of the sun
reached the ground.
The pigeon
that stopped him short
seemed quite inconspicuous
apart from his
fluent human speech:
\"My good man;
the dean
at the university
of Gnuttonburough
has appointed me
as your guardian.
Shortly you will
be directed
out of this forest.
However; since
we are both here
I would like to
get your opinion
in a matter of certain
philosophical interest...
Well then; the vast
number of angels
occupying the top
of a pin is most probably
known to you.
Nevertheless...\"
And the bird kept talking
as the shadows closed in...
