Time has passed,

but nevertheless

We still have to seek up captain Jason,
get all our stuff from the boardinghouse,
board that brave ship Argos
and let the southern breeze of antiquity
fill her sails as we're headed north.
Somewhere The Golden Fleece is waiting,
guarded by a fierce dragon,
whom the captain will have to slay
before the sun sets over the tale.
We sail for countless days and one morning
the lookout shouts from high above;
a shipwrecked man ahead,riding a timber fleet.
While gulping down a large amount of water
he starts recapturing his last encounter with Ulysses
and reveals his suspicion that there still is a war
raging amongst the gods of Olympos.
Some support the drifting chief,
others want to see him drowned
in the salty waves of the Aegean sea.
And as this knowledgeable narrator
adds his strength to our mission,
we keep plowing the waters ahead.
Once again the lookout shouts.
A great white beast surfaces slowly;
is this the one who will swallow Jonah later on
and still later act as the Nemesis of Captain Ahab?
You object; wrong sea, wrong tale!
The survivor from Troy shuts you up.
Provided we can rest assured
that the very God of Fiction put you here,
there is no wrong sea, nor a wrong tale.
