The grandeur of nature;
fjords, forests,
mountains, glaziers?
I know.
But pray,how are you
to be excused
if you forget
our teeming mankind\'s
sophisticated wonders?
First they were admired
east of Bosporus
in their wild, blushing youth.
The Sultan and The Dutch
knew a thing or two
about cultivation.
Beyond the dikes
flower fields lie
like fallen rainbows.
With their colour weaponry
they conquer the vases
as smiles appear
on ladies\' faces.
