In the deep horizons behind your eyes
I could have drowned
This, I remember
from our first acquaintance
How I was tempted with you
dismayed, my stomach tied up
and my knees clenched
Then you approached
with your million dollar smile
and the world around me flew
There was you, me, in silence
nothing else materred
And within your serene blue ocean
I became a gull flying
deep behind your eyes
