tenderness is all lost
somewhere between those shades of green
up in the skies
is there an end to this road
is there a road
can you tell the difference
do you know
when i hurt
out of spite love sorrow
never give me what I am asking for
starve me
despise me
so tired of walking
running is not in my powers
but you’ve known that long before
didn’t you
give me a warm coat around my spine
when i am nothing
nothing more
than this woman crying on buses
spilling this useless heart throughout town
splitting hair in between razor blades
hear me laugh
hear me cry
all the same darling
no logic there no relief no reason no stop no rest
forgive me not
pretend I am not real
i beg you
please
say i do not exist
this makes it all easier somehow
crush me into a shadow
disperse me
atom bomb me
dust absorbs feelings
feed me to the buried
6 feet under
deeper, even
my turquoise aquamarine malachite
