I wished to be a scented cloud

In which you`d wake up still dreaming,

Hidden in your own deep pleasure.

I wished you`d breathe me in, but never out !

I wished I would be your voice,

Forever caressing your lips, your tongue;

To be with you at every sigh, at every cry;

I wish you would speak me out !

I tried to defeat my fast beating heart,

To reach out for your hand, my love;

To be the one you look at proudly;

I tried to be someone else.

I remain a wishful angel,

A guardian with lonely wings;

I wish forever more, but for you

I\'m but a rainbow in the dark...
