letting the eyes of shadow pass my lighted joy
is the curse of the last feeling you gave me.
look, black wet thoughts are trying to persuade
the middle of the circle to swallow the tears of our love.
we\'re even, you say.
you\'re not talking about my butterflyed heart anymore.
why should you?!
you let it be taken by the fallen angels
in their swiftness to nowhere.
what we have will be lost,
reading old emails,
breathing the ashes of the past.
