A painting.
In the fog
We saw his
Hat hover
Hat hover
No light as he stood
At the window
Thinking of us
We were sure of it
Yeah
His long black silhouette
Let that hat hover
Hat hover
To surprise us
But
Oh, we woke up
And fortunately
Didn\'t let him in.
Even if he was
So close in the fog
So close under
the hovering hat that
we\'ve been painting it for years.
Now we have it
On the wall
But still
It\'s not him.
