Cherry blossoms on a dried old tree
Nothing to look at, nothing to see,
As I pass it, and look closer,
I understand that it\'s not yet over....
Hope is kindling in my heart,
As it think of a brand new start,
Where there is life, there is hope,
I begin to understand it\'s great scope.
Wishful thinking on my part,
Not all bad things must be taken to heart,
And I go over my choices in life,
Realizing it\'s not that great of a strife.
Sunshine flows over the cherry tree,
As a warm hope flows over me,
My eyes tear up, and my heart is warm
As I look up, and watch the clouds form.
Peace and serenity is upon me
whenever I behold, this old cherry tree.
