Say, we don’t need to talk

Instead,

I shall cuddle in your arms

And take a good nap,

Expecting a kiss on the forehead

When I’m awake.

Say, we don’t need to talk

Instead

I shall silently steal in the backseat

And stay still

For the entire ride,

Expecting a warm embrace

In the morning

When we first stop for a walk.

Say, we don’t need to talk

Instead,

I shall put on my red skirt and

leather-soled shoes

And dance for you

One single dance

- the dance of Qismah-

Our last moment of

happiness and joy,

As the fortune-teller says

this night ride can only end

in Hell.
