Unhealed pain

I clear my sight
in the clean air
clean as the tears of Zeus.
All birds’ burn out
in the heat of the sun-
….leaving behind ashes
I search for my sins
and clean my unhealed
wounds.
They are all dead inside me,
only my heart sings
on strings of pain.
