I see the vast expanses open, up and down stream
left and right-bank
above
strange flutters by the prow
to go - forth
here, all distances are calling
these dreams are sirens,
sworn to make you bow
instead, I pour into my eyes the wax of silence
and sink at last my fangs
Into the now
