My Dear…as I always liked to call you…
I dreamt of you one night
So far away and, yet, so close in my dreams…
Don’t know if haunting or just travelling
Through them
Just hoping….but still dreaming…
Did you really followed your star
Or just wondered in the morning light?
Did you ever believed me for who I am
Or just wondered a dream which I couldn’t ever become?
I think…and I might be wrong
And please correct me if I am…
That I am just the morning light, a little bit too late
To be the sunshine…
And the aftersunset dark…
A little bit too late to be the sunset…
And, after all have passed
I am just a little bit too late
…and passed just after…
For your morning light…and for your sunshine….
