Between you and me
an ocean.
A moment
of downfall and uplifting;
swaying to its sway we are,
joining in to its tune.
Between me and you
a cargo of stardust
we have saved in our fists.
Between me and you
a precious exchange.
A thin line.
Horizon\'s lash.
A wave clinging to its shore.
Between you and me
smiles.
A promise
lingering hot on the rim of our lips;
hearkening to its whisper we are,
joining in to its spell.
Between me and you
a tender embrace
making us warm.
Between me and you
a precious exchange.
A thin line.
An abyss.
An ocean clinging to it depths...
