anything.
Your voice
on the phone
captures me
nails me
enthralls me.
I could be
so happy
if I could hold you
and feel you fit
against me
where my heart knows
you belong.
Tomorrow
and tomorrow
are never ours
to touch
or promise
but the gift
of you warm beside me
is all my heart needs.
Please
don\'t promise me
anything more
words are empty
show me
with your touch
and your time
and you embrace

will have
