Real eyes

Pathetic feeling sad and sorry

looking for pity or a path

embarassed for myself

for myself is somewhat lost in myself

my self

this has been over so many times

what comes next to calm the tide?

lonely lover romantic failure

all left wanting but only love

flower, breakfast, hug and kiss

something to bring back the feeling I miss

Some words mean so much some times

at times and then are only words

muttered in heat or drunken freedom

repeated only when forced to do so

or so it seems this life is too slow

I fear the future, I fear the loss

I give all my love but at what cost?

the heart I fill will leave fufilled

and the shadow of mine will fade and be stilled.

It hurts to know the pain is one sided,

if only what we wanted in our lives coincided.

but alas it is me who loves you,

and you who loves the convenience of two.
