Do angels write? Do angels paint?
Do angels love or do they hate?
Men use their fingers to create.
Do angels dream of what is great?
Can those who are in skies above
Express themselves through acts of love?
Did God create them to inspire?
To light us men with inner fire?
Can messengers of He who’s grate
A masterpiece of art create?
How can our inspiration come to wake
From those who seem to not relate?
When endings come, when fates unwind
We leave our legacy behind.
Through art our spirits will survive
But how will angels be alive?
