everything is a lie around me,
nothing is real, nothing is true,
nothing is clean,
they’re all a dream, like you.
I look around and all I see
it’s missing you and pain,
just broken dreams and thoughts,
and I feel like going insane.
I look to you and I see nothing,
a face with no life, a face cold,
you can’t make me feel good
because my hope remains untold.
I look behind and I see you,
you are real quite, you make no move,
you were, you are, you’ll always be
a lie that I can prove.
