Forever locked in Death\'s embrace
cold and alone eternally to lie
a hollow shell I loved
fiercest fire cannot revive
passion\'s lost as your soul
With wounded heart I search
in arcane ways on ancient paths
a question seeking release
tormented by what can never be
love\'s flame extinguished young
An ember sears my soul\'s core
never dying, never ceasing
constant reminder of my failure
our pact eternally broken
yet I remain faithful to the vow
No feeling remains in your empty heart
pulse once quickened now silent
only echoes of a past lay sleeping
no rapturous reunion
only you in your peaceful tomb
left me alone with pain
