My life was a song
When you came along
But I didn’t dare
To think you cared
And I didn’t see
What you meant for me
Till I started miss
Your long forgotten kiss
In that summer day
Which is too far away,
So my heart just broke
As I started to choke
In the moment you left
And the past you swept
Like it hadn’t been
What we had once lived…
Now, you look back
To see I am a wreck!
Carried out by rip
Like an abandoned ship:
You chose the safe dry land
As letting go my hand
And left all behind
Without a change of mind…
Oh, please, don’t desert
It too much hurts
To see love is the most
Of all the things we’ve lost…
