there are places I’ve never seen
and others I’ll never see,
as there are mountains I’ll never climb
and seas I’ll never dive in.
there are smiles I’ve never smiled
and tears I’ll never drop,
as there are joys I’ll never know
and sorrows I’ll never meet.
there are things I’ve never had
and feelings I’ll never have,
as there are lines I’ll never cross
and emotions I’ll never allow.
but as long as you are here
I’ll never miss all that there is but not for me.
