dead echos distort
among the RIPs and years
Impotent bodies
are laid to rest
in shallow bleeding graves
of ephemeral marble
As bees think
of afterlife
lame sounds intensify
mocking all below
Outside,
blankly, unbroken,
hypnotic neon light reads
