I’d live a thousand years to find a girl like you
So good, so pure, so bright
And with a smile and beauty that lights the darkest night.
But now that I have found you what should I do or say
To keep you in my arms in an eternal day?
So with a lonely whisper I give you all my heart
I’m asking in return from yours a tiny part,
A part that I can cherish through days that are so hard
And through the endless nights I am from you apart.
